INFANT PROGRAM

6 Weeks to 12 Months

Our infant program provides safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate activities for your baby that are essential for well-being and individual growth. We believe in an environment that affords peace of mind for parents, knowing their little ones are well-cared for while away. We focus on activities that stimulate sensory, cognitive, and physical development:

Tummy Time

Encourages infants to spend time on their stomachs to help strengthen neck and shoulder muscles while promoting motor development.  

Interactive Play

Promotes age-appropriate activities that engage infant senses with colorful objects, rattles, and soft toys. 

Music & Movement

Engages infants with gentle music and simple movements such as swaying or dancing, which proves to be very soothing and enjoyable for them. 

Reading & Language Development

Entails reading books with simple, colorful pictures while engaging in conversation with infants to promote early language skills and literacy.

Outdoor Time

Provides opportunities for infants to experience the outdoors, which includes short stroller walks or supervised time in a safe outdoor play area. This is beneficial for their overall development.

Routine Care

Ensures infant basic needs of feeding, diapering, and napping are met in a caring and responsive manner.

Parent Communication

Fosters open communication with parents about their infant daily activities, milestones, concerns or questions. We offer daily updates with parents through our ProCare Management Software and newsletters. 

TODDLER PROGRAM

12 TO 24 MONTHS

We provide quality toddler care by supporting growth and development during this exciting stage of exploration and discovery. Our program offers comfort to families, knowing their toddlers are in a nurturing and safe environment. We focus on the following areas of development stages:

SAFE & STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT

Offers a safe space that is conducive to exploration and play. Toddlers are curious and eager to explore, so we ensure the environment is childproof with a variety of age-appropriate toys and activities. 

STRUCTURED ROUTINE

Establishes a predictable daily routine that helps toddlers feel secure with a sense of consistency. This routine creates a timetable for meals, snacks, naps, outdoor play, and structured activities.

SOCIALIZATION OPPORTUNITIES

Cultivates social interaction and cooperation among toddlers through group activities like circle time, art projects, and simple games. Peer interaction is important for developing social skills and emotional intelligence.

LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT

Builds language development by engaging in conversations, reading books together, singing songs, using gestures and simple sign language to communicate.  

FINE & GROSS MOTOR SKILLS

Creates opportunities for toddlers to practice these skills by stacking blocks, playing with balls, drawing with crayons, and engaging in active indoor and outdoor play.

INDEPENDENCE & SELF-HELP SKILLS

Empowers toddlers to develop independence and self-help skills by allowing them to feed themselves, practice dressing and undressing, and engaging in activities that foster autonomy and confidence.  

POSITIVE GUIDANCE & DISCIPLINE

Uses positive reinforcement, redirection, and gentle guidance to teach toddlers appropriate behavior and boundaries. We believe consistency and patience are key when setting limits and addressing challenging behaviors.

Extends open communication and daily updates to parents through our ProCare Management Software and newsletters. We encourage parents to share information about child routines, preferences, and developmental milestones. 

PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM

2-YEAR-OLD

Children are curious and eager to explore the world around them. Preschool provides a nurturing environment where they can learn through play, socialize with peers, and begin developing important language, cognitive abilities, and social emotions. We strive to always ensure a safe and stimulating space for growth and development in a well-rounded and supportive learning environment. The key development stages are:

physical development

Gross Motor Skills: Promotes movement like jumping and running to help develop large muscle groups.  


Fine Motor Skills: Encourages drawing, stacking blocks, and using Play-Doh to develop control of small muscles in hands and fingers.  

cognitive development

Sensory Exploration: Engages the senses through sensory bins, water play, and texture exploration to promote cognitive development. 


Problem-Solving: Explores puzzles, shape sorters, and simple cause-and-effect toys to discover the world around them.


Language Development: Reads books, sings songs, and engages in conversation to support language acquisition and communication skills. 

social-emotional development

Parallel Play: Plays alongside each other without direct interaction to promote social awareness and cooperation.


Emotional Regulation: Identifies and expresses their emotions in a safe and supportive environment. 


Building Relationships: Promotes positive interactions and cooperation through group activities and games. 

self-help skills

Independence: Practices self-help skills like feeding themselves, dressing, and cleaning up after activities. 


Toilet Training: Supports toilet training journey with patience, encouragement, and consistency, once parents and/or teacher feel the child is ready to begin. 

creativity & imagination

Open-Ended Play: Allows for open-ended play and encourages creativity like art materials, blocks, and imaginative play props. 


Pretend Play: Offers imaginative role-playing with props, costumes, and child-sized kitchens or dollhouses. 

attention span & focus

Attention Span: Captures toddler attention with short, engaging activities to accommodate their short attention spans. 


Sensory Breaks: Refocuses and regulates toddler attention.

PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM

3-YEAR-OLD

This program teaches foundational skills across various developmental milestones t0 enhance physical abilities, gross and fine motor skills, cognitive development, basic problem-solving tasks, and early literacy activities. These areas are encouraged throughout the day and self-help skills are promoted to build independence in daily tasks. Our Pre-K 3 program students wear a uniform Navy Polo Shirt (purchased in the office) to encourage a school readiness environment. Our key focus areas are:

physical development

Teaches gross motor skills with activities like running, jumping, climbing, and balancing. 


Engages more complex, fine motor activities such as cutting with safety scissors, threading beads, and manipulating small objects. 

cognitive development

Promotes curiosity and exploration through hands-on learning experiences and activities that engage their senses.  


Expands problem-solving skills through simple puzzles, matching games, and sorting activities. 


Advances early literacy and numeracy skills through storytelling, rhyming games, counting activities, and exposure to letters and numbers. 

social-emotional development

Supports development of empathy and cooperation through group activities, collaborative play, and discussions about feelings. 


Encourages sharing, taking turns, and practicing conflict resolution skills in social situations. 


Fosters creativity and self-expression through imaginative play and role-playing. 

self-help skills

Reinforces independence and self-help by dressing themselves, using the restroom independently, and cleaning up after activities. 


Prompts healthy habits through handwashing, nutritious eating, and by tidying up their personal belongings. 

language development

Increases vocabulary through conversations, storytelling, and exposure to a variety of books and language-rich experiences. 


Bolsters dramatic play, pretend scenarios, and imaginative storytelling to expand language development and expression. 

creativity & imagination

Expands creativity through art activities like painting, drawing, sculpting, and collage-making. 


Provides open-ended materials and props for imaginative play with dress-up clothes, props for pretend play, and building blocks. 

attention span & focus

Offers activities requiring sustained attention and focus that gradually increases in duration as children develop. 


Breaks activities into smaller, manageable tasks to support attention span and engagement. 

OUTDOOR & INDOOR PLAY & NATURE EXPLORATION

Promotes outdoor play and exploration to increase physical activity, sensory experiences, and an appreciation of nature.  All students get to enjoy an "Indoor Play Jungle Gym" which is a plus especially during the summer excessive heat  and rainy days.

PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM

4-YEAR-OLD

We prepare 4-year-olds for kindergarten and beyond through a comprehensive program that addresses cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development while also introducing foundational academic skills. At the end of the school year, we honor each graduate with a ‘cap and gown’ formal ceremony to celebrate their accomplishments. Our Pre-K 4 program students wear a uniform Red Polo Shirt (purchased in the office) to encourage a school readiness environment. Our key focus are:

LITERACY & LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT

Hosts read-aloud sessions with a variety of books that foster a love for reading and language. 


Introduces phonic awareness like rhyming games, initial sound recognition, and blending sounds. 


Constructs letter recognition and formation through hands-on experiences, games, and writing practices that are fun and exciting. 


Incorporates daily vocabulary-building activities of storytelling, conversation, and exposure to new words.

mathematics readiness

Teaches counting skills using manipulatives like blocks, beads, or counters to develop number sense. 


Introduces basic math concepts with shapes, colors, patterns, sorting, and simple addition and subtraction. 


Explores hands-on with measurement, size comparison, and understanding concepts like more and less. 

social-emotional development

Promotes social skills through cooperative play, group activities, and problem-solving. 


Encourages empathy, sharing, and turn-taking through structured games and free play. 


Teaches emotional regulation by allowing children to express feelings in a supportive environment. 

fine & gross motor skills

Reinforces fine motor skills by cutting, tracing, threading beads, and using tweezers. These activities strengthen hand muscles and improve coordination. 


Expands gross motor skills by running, jumping, climbing, and balancing to develop greater strength, agility, and spatial awareness. 


Encourages physical play and exploration of the natural outdoor environment. 

creative arts & expression

Uses various art materials and techniques to expand creativity and self-expression. 


Teaches coordination and rhythm through music and movements that include singing, dancing, and playing simple rhythm instruments. 


Inspires imagination and storytelling with dramatic play opportunities, props and costumes. 

science & nature exploration

Uses hands-on science experiments and investigations to explore basic scientific concepts such as cause-and-effect, observation, and inquiry. 


Facilitates nature walks and outdoor exploration for sensory experiences that foster curiosity about the natural world.  

preparation for school routines

Introduces routines and structures like those in kindergarten such as circle time, group activities, and transitions between activities. 


Practices following directions, listening attentively, and participating in group discussions. 

PARENT INVOLVEMENT & COMMUNICATION

We encourage open communication with parents through daily updates with our ProCare Management Software and newsletters. We believe in a partnership that includes regular communication, parent-teacher conferences, and involvement in school activities. 


We also provide resources and suggestions for extending learning at home with homework to reinforce skills and concepts introduced in the preschool program. 

ASSESSMENT & INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT

Uses ongoing assessment tools that monitor child progress and identify areas requiring additional support or enrichment. 


Provides individualized attention and targeted interventions, as needed, to ensure all children are prepared for transition to kindergarten. 

BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

This program plays a crucial role in supporting working families by providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children during non-school hours. It promotes academic, social, and emotional development while also offering convenience and peace of mind for parents.

before school care

Provides safe space and constructive activities before school starts. We cater to parents whose schedules conflict with school. Features include: 

 

  • Breakfast: Provides children with morning nutrition. 
  • Supervised Activities: Engages quiet play, games, arts and crafts, or light physical exercises. 
  • Homework Assistance: Provides quiet space to work on assignments before school begins. 
  • Socialization: Fosters peer interaction in safe, supervised environment. Nurtures social skills and friendships.

after school care

We offer children a safe, structured environment until parents can retrieve them, including:


  • Snack Time: Provides nutritious snack upon arrival. 
  • Homework Support: Guides and assists with assignments. 
  • Enrichment Activities: Hosts arts, crafts, sports, music, drama, STEM projects and Computer Lab.  
  • Outdoor Play: Offers playtime to release energy and enjoy fresh air. (Includes indoor play gym). 
  • Supervised Free Time: Affords unstructured play and fun with peers, under supervision.
